ALLERGY, POST COVID, IBS, LIFESTYLE DISORDERS
- An allergic reaction is caused when the immune system mistakenly identifies a normally harmless substance as damaging to the body. Mold could be your problem if you develop allergy symptoms when you’re in a damp basement or raking wet leaves. You’re probably allergic to cats and dogs if allergy attacks occur when you’re around these animals.
IMMUNE SYSTEM AND ALLERGY:
The purpose of the immune system is to keep infectious microorganisms, such as certain bacteria, viruses, and fungi, out of the body, and to destroy any infectious microorganisms that do invade the body. The immune system is made up of a complex and vital network of cells and organs that protect the body from infection. When the immune system does not function properly, it leaves the body susceptible to an array of diseases. Allergies and hypersensitivity to certain substances are considered immune system disorders.
POST COVID & HOMEOPATHY:
Most people who get coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) recover within a few weeks. But some people — even those who had mild versions of the disease — might have symptoms that last a long time afterward. These ongoing health problems are sometimes called post-COVID-19 syndrome, post-COVID conditions, long COVID-19, long-haul COVID-19, and post acute sequelae of SARS COV-2 infection (PASC).
What is post-COVID-19 syndrome and how common is it?
Post-COVID-19 syndrome involves a variety of new, returning or ongoing symptoms that people experience more than four weeks after getting COVID-19. In some people, post-COVID-19 syndrome lasts months or years or causes disability. Research suggests that between one month and one year after having COVID-19, 1 in 5 people ages 18 to 64 has at least one medical condition that might be due to COVID-19. Among people age 65 and older, 1 in 4 has at least one medical condition that might be due to COVID-19.
IBS & HOMEOPATHY:
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is an illness characterized by intermittent abdominal cramps and constipation with alternating periods of diarrhea. Frequently the patient will notice mucus mixed in with the stool, but there should be no blood. It is estimated that over 20 million people have IBS. Two thirds of the patients are female.
Cause—-The exact cause of irritable bowel syndrome is not known.
